About Ozzie
It started with one father and one frustrated six-year-old.
“I started Ozzie after my six-year-old son could not independently use or connect with the Quran apps I downloaded for him.”
What began as one parent's frustration turned into twenty conversations with other parents, and the same two problems came up again and again.
The first is correction. Most daily Quran practice happens between teacher sessions, at home, where a parent may not be able to hear a missed or mispronounced word. A child repeats the mistake until it becomes part of the memorised verse, and undoing it later is far harder than getting it right the first time.
The second is comprehension. A child can reproduce the Arabic beautifully and remain entirely disconnected from what the verse actually means. Memorisation without meaning is a hollow kind of success, and children feel that even when they cannot name it.
Ozzie exists to close both gaps in the same place: something that listens closely enough to correct a single word, and explains clearly enough that a child understands what they are saying before they commit it to memory.

Our educational content is validated by Ulum Al-Azhar Academy, endorsed by Al-Azhar Al-Sharif in Egypt. Nothing reaches a child without passing through them first.
Where we are, honestly
Ozzie went from a parent's problem to a scholar-approved product in eight months, funded by the founders. Al-Fatiha and Al-Ikhlas are approved for publication, the scholar partnership is signed, and the child experience is built.
What we have not done yet is put it in front of a hundred families. That is exactly what the founding pilot is for, and why we would rather tell you where we are than pretend to be further along.
