Delete your Ozzie account

Open Ozzie, go to Parent Control, enter your PIN, then Settings, then Delete account. Type “delete account” to confirm. Deletion starts straight away. To remove one child and keep the account, open that child in Parent Control and choose Delete.

Email salam@myozzie.app from the address you used for your Ozzie account, with the subject “Delete my account”. That is all we need.

We will reply to confirm it is you, then delete the account. You will get an email when it is done. We read that inbox every working day.

• Voice recordings: by default Ozzie deletes each recording as soon as it has been checked, so most accounts hold none. If you opted in to keep recordings, every stored audio file and every record pointing to one is erased. A voice cannot be made anonymous, so recordings are deleted outright, not hidden, and are never used again.
• Your parent account: your email address, your Apple or Google sign-in link, your PIN, and any name or picture Google sent us. Your way back in is removed: signing in again with the same Google or Apple account creates a brand new, empty account.
• Each child's identity: first name and year of birth.

The anonymous learning record. We keep the fact that a child practised a verse and how it scored: attempts, scores, word-level results, streaks, badges, session times, and the child's gender and cartoon avatar. Nothing in it says who the child was: no name, no birth year, no email, and no link to your device. It is what tells us which verses are hard for children in general.

The record that you gave consent. It holds a one-way scrambled code derived from your email (it cannot be turned back into your address, even by us), the boxes you ticked, the time, and the version of our notice you agreed to. It holds nothing about your child. We keep it for six years because we must be able to show that consent was properly obtained, then delete it.

Nothing else is retained. There are no payment records because there are no payments.

Once we have confirmed your request:

• Immediately: you are signed out, the account stops working, and the deletions above run.
• Within 24 hours: the deletion is complete in our live database.

Ozzie has no paid subscriptions in this version. There is nothing to cancel and nothing you will be charged for.
