By creating an account or joining the waitlist you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. Ozzie is operated by Ozzie LLC, registered in the United Arab Emirates.

You must be 18 or older to create an account. The account is yours as the parent or guardian, and you are responsible for how your child uses it. Ozzie is built for children aged 6 to 12. Everything about your child is collected only with your consent, which the app asks for before you add a child and which you can withdraw at any time.

We are opening Ozzie to 100 founding members while it is still in development. A founding spot covers one child. We are starting with individual accounts, not family plans.

In return for completing two feedback surveys, one of about three minutes when your child starts and one of about twenty minutes at the end, a founding member receives one full year of Ozzie Premium, free, from the point we fully launch. We may also invite founding members to an interview. Interviews are optional, and declining one does not affect your free year. If the surveys are not completed, we may end that arrangement, and we will tell you first.

While Ozzie is in development it is free. After launch, at least one surah stays free with no time limit, and the rest is part of a paid subscription. Pricing is not set yet. We will publish it, and exactly which surahs are free, before anyone is asked to pay, and we will never charge you without asking first. Purchases will be made through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to their terms.

Use Ozzie for your own family. Please do not share your account outside your household, try to break or reverse engineer the app, or copy its content for republication.

The Quran itself belongs to no one and to everyone. The material we build around it, including the illustrations, explanations, recorded audio, the Ozzie character and the app itself, belongs to us and is licensed to you for personal family use.

Our educational content is reviewed by an accredited Islamic scholarly institution. If you believe something is inaccurate, tell us and we will look into it seriously.

Ozzie is a learning companion. It listens, corrects and encourages, and we work to make it as accurate as we can, but it is software and it will sometimes be wrong. Use your own judgement, and your teacher or scholar, where it matters.

You can stop using Ozzie and delete your account whenever you like. What is deleted and what is kept is set out on the account deletion page and in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend an account that is being used to harm others or to abuse the service, and we will explain why.

Ozzie is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from using it. Nothing here limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Nothing in them takes away any protection you have under the consumer law of the country where you live, and if a court there gives you a right these terms do not, that right applies.
