Terms of Use
Last updated: 28 July 2026
These are the terms for using Ozzie. We have kept them readable on purpose. If something here seems unfair, tell us.
Agreeing to these terms
By creating an account or joining the waitlist you agree to these terms. Ozzie is operated by Ozzie LLC, registered in the United Arab Emirates.
Who can use Ozzie
You must be 18 or older to create an account. The account is yours as the parent or guardian, and you are responsible for how your child uses it. Ozzie is built for children aged 6 to 12.
The founding pilot
We are opening Ozzie to 100 founding members during the MVP. A founding spot covers one child. We are starting with individual accounts, not family plans.
In return for taking part in short feedback surveys and the occasional interview, a founding member receives one full year of Ozzie Premium, free, from the point we fully launch. If you stop taking part, we may end that arrangement, and we will tell you first.
What it costs
While Ozzie is in development it is free. After launch it moves to a paid model with a free tier that has more limited features. Pricing is not set yet. We will publish it before anyone is asked to pay, and we will never charge you without asking first.
Using Ozzie properly
Use Ozzie for your own family. Please do not share your account outside your household, try to break or reverse engineer the app, or copy its content for republication.
Content
The Quran itself belongs to no one and to everyone. The material we build around it, including the illustrations, explanations, recorded audio, the Ozzie character and the app itself, belongs to us and is licensed to you for personal family use.
Our educational content is reviewed in partnership with Ulum Al-Azhar Academy. If you believe something is inaccurate, tell us and we will look into it seriously.
What Ozzie is and is not
Ozzie is a learning companion. It listens, corrects and encourages, and we work to make it as accurate as we can, but it is software and it will sometimes be wrong. Use your own judgement, and your teacher or scholar, where it matters.
Ending it
You can stop using Ozzie and delete your account whenever you like, and your data goes with it. We may suspend an account that is being used to harm others or to abuse the service, and we will explain why.
Liability
Ozzie is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from using it. Nothing here limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
